CTCWW – Carers Trust Crossroads West Wales
A network partner of the Carers Trust, the major national charity offering practical and emotional help to carers. Our Carers Support Service provides free and confidential information, advice and support to Carers. We produce and distribute information for carers and organise regular events in partnership with other organisations.

 

Money Matters Service
The aim of the Money Matters service is to improve carer wellbeing through income maximisation and alleviating financial pressures.

Carmarthenshire Carers Educational Years (CEY) Project
A dedicated keyworker providing 1:1 support in the home, at school or at college. A support plan with a family-based approach, information on carer issues, life skills groups: confidence building, health & well-being, etc.

Carmarthenshire Young Adult Carers
Dedicated project for Young and Young Adult Carers in Carmarthenshire proving support for 5-25 year olds.  Provide practical and emotional support, respite activities and peer group clubs/meetings in the community to meet other young  carers.

Hospital & Community Discharge Service
Providing support to carers in relation to hospital discharge.

 

Time Together

The project provides short break opportunities for unpaid carers across Carmarthenshire including a grants scheme to fund short break opportunities with friends or family, activities for carers (both with and without the individuals they care for) and weekend activity sessions for children and young people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism.
